Guidelines for WPPP/Sony Wedding Photo Contest 2013
Theme: Wedding Candid


Who May Enter: 

The contest is open to all professional or amateur Filipino wedding photographers.

Entrants must be based in the Philippines.

Who May not Enter:
- All Regular, Probationary & Associate WPPP members including their staff and employees
- Employees of Sony Philippines, Inc
- Speakers & Lecturers of The WPPP Photo & Video Congress 2013

Entry Fee:
Php150.00 for The WPPP Photo & Video Congress 2013 Paid Delegates
and Php200.00 for Non-Delegates.

Entry Fee is payable in cash thru bank deposit to WPPP C/A 498-7-49801196-5 Metrobank, C. Raymundo Avenue Branch, Pasig City.

Entry Period: 
Entries will be accepted beginning May 2, 2013.
Deadline for submission of entries is 5:00 p.m. of May 20, 2013
All entries must be in jpeg format, 8x10 with 2 inches black or white border, 300 dpi.
All entries shall be sent via email  along with the entry form and the bank deposit slip of the entry fee  to infowppp@yahoo.com or infowppp@gmail.com

No exceptions will be made for any reason. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the organizers receive your entries on the deadline.

How To Enter: 
Maximum of three (3) entries per participant.
Each entry should be accompanied by a fully-filled-up official entry form attached securely to the entries.

What May Be Entered:
 -A candid wedding photo (not set-up or directed)

-No over post-processing. Only minor adjustments, including spotting, dodging and burning, sharpening, contrast and slight color adjustment or the digital equivalents, are acceptable.

-Photographers who excel in capturing the un-styled and un-scripted moments of the wedding day will win the contest.

-Entries should not contain any nudity or any inappropriate images  (a) may not have been submitted in any other competition, (b) may not have been published, including postings on the World Wide Web, prior to the Contest Submission (c) may not infringe upon any third party's rights.

JUDGING: All eligible entries will be judged by a SONY-WPPP panel of judges whose decisions are final and binding on all judging matters.

Awarding of entries will be held at The Photographers' Night of  The WPPP Photo & Video Congress 2013.

Sony NEX-3N and 1 year free WPPP Membership await the grand winner and will have the chance to have his or her photo exhibited/featured at The WPPP Photo & Video Congress 2013 and on the websites of WPPP and SONY PHILIPPINES INC.
