WPPP PHOTO CAMP
We are happy to announce to you that the recently concluded wppp photo camp and Photo Congress 2010 brainstorming was a success.
Headed by Mr Lito Sy WPPP president and Mr Danny Ignacio WPPP photo congress Chairman 2010 and attended by more than 38 members and participants from all parts of Laguna and even as far North as Ilocos was present. There were also members from Bacolod City ,Boracay, Bicol and Davao who came to support the group.
All in all, more than 70 attendees were happy to share and exchange photography ideas and just having fun joking arround.
First day started with fellowship and followed by the evening of brainstorming and ended at 10pm.The second day, the facilitators headed by Rommel Guerra and Edwin Tuyay were busy welcoming the new participants. They were served to a delicious lunch and ushered to their respective room. We stayed at one of the cleanest resort in laguna,the Grand Villa.
Afternoon rain did'nt dampen the spirits of the participants due to the arrival of 4 models from the Laguna tourism and this girls are title holders who were envited by Mr Val Porras.
Lecture and seminars were provided by Mr Lito Sy, Lito Genilo, Elmer Castor, Bern Mejias
with hands on pictorial with the models.
We had swim wear pictorial with the models on the following day of course with the watchfull eyes of their parents and supervised by Mr. Robert Lester Aliscad, Mr. Lito Perez and Mr. Benny Bondoc.
We said our goodbyes at arround 2pm and we are hopping and excited for next years photo camp.

It is through the success of WPPP Photo Conress 2009 (PC09),that we would like to Congratulate Mr. Danny Igancio, Photo Congress Chairman and all the WPPP Officers and Members for a Job well done based on the number of Delegates and the participation of Major and Minor Sponsors.
Through this success Mr. Ignacio and the rest of the group is excited for the 2010 Photo Congress.Incidentally, He is also the Photographer of the Year 2008 winner, and His Photo won the Photo of the Year 2008 which was Judged by the Foreign Speakers: Mike Larson USA, Louis Pang of Malaysia and Charlie Lim of Singapore.It was held and awarded last May 5, 2009 at Plaza Ibarra's “Photographers Night”,which was attented by Lito Sy the current WPPP President. Also present was Mr. Bern Mejias WPPP immediate - past President, together with the Officers and Board members. Richel Mascarinas - VP, and Membership Committee,Robert Lester Aliscad-Treasurer,Rommel Guerra-Seacretary,Edwin Tuyay and Elmer Castor Board Members.
The celebration ended around 12 midnight.

THE WPPP OFFICE BLESSING. On March 12, the new WPPP Office was blessed by Fr Rex Vidal, SVD (through the help of Richel Mascariñas, a former Seminarian). Cutting the Ribbon was Carlos Mariveles, a friend of WPPP and a US-based Photographer. On his left joining the opening was Emil Buencamino, the WPPP Founding President. Witnessing the event from behind and partly hidden were Danny Ignacio, the current WPPP Photo Congress Chairman and Lito Genilo, one of the WPPP Advisers
